Common Ground Life Founder's Story:

Hi, I am Paula. I am in my late 50's, married to a woman, and we have 3 children.

I am the kind of person who doesn't meet a stranger, that can be a good thing, however, at times it has caused me to be late.

I enjoy spending time with my family, being outside, photography, church, traveling, and great food.

I believe that being kind is one of the most important things we can share with one another and I encourage this daily around our house!

I truly hope that our site introduces you to some great people who will become lifetime friends. Thank you for being a part of our CGL family.

Peace and love my friends!
Paula

About Angela

Well let’s see, where do I start? Okay, I grew up in a very small, southern town in the 70’s and 80’s. So yes, things were a bit complicated being who I am.

In my late teens I decided to move and eventually decided I needed to get some kind of education. First, I received a diploma in Network Engineering and Management. A year later I decided to get a duel Bachelors, in Business Administration & Management and Human Resources. A few years later I got my Master’s in Business with a concentration in Technology.  While going to school I continued to work as a Network Operation Control Engineer/Field Engineer.  I moved into management then began a career in training and that is where I have stayed.  I’ve successfully kicked started several companies with their training departments from the start of their business.

I moved back to that small southern town around 2014 and in the beginning of 2017 went through a life change. This is where it all begins…..I met co-founder Paula on one of the other online sites and we became friends, pretty good friends I might add!!!

Also, around this time I was in a group on face book and just happened to see a name I recognized. Although I was apprehensive about reaching out I am so glad I did, because she is now my fiancé, Kelly. As a couple we enjoy traveling, movies, the Mountains, hiking, waterfalls, and of course the beach. Which is a plus for me because I love photography. I am still trying to get her to kayak with me though, lol.

Paula presented this idea to me and we kicked it around for about 12 months then decided it was time, so we started this great site!! We dug our heels in and with the help of Michelle and Edwin, we now have the most awesome dating website there is!

Giving back has always been a vocal point for both Paula and me. We are both very passionate about helping and giving to those who need it. With that being said, we will be giving a percentage of our profits to help the young LGBTQ community and to St. Jude’s.

That is my story in a nutshell!! The rest… well let’s see what the future holds!!
